Dear Jack and all the Griffith extended family...being out West all these many years has not given me opportunities to build any shared memories with your cherished bride, mother, and grandmother. Nonetheless, we're family so I wish to add my voice to the chorus of those honoring the memory of a remarkable lady, especially so in this time of the year that she loved so much.
I too have lost a life mate and a parent, so my heart goes out to you. You will be in my prayers in the days ahead. May the Living and Triune God give you extra measures of grace...may the Living and resurrected Savior extend tender mercies...and may the Holy Spirit bring all manner of needed comfort and hope to all of you in the seasons ahead.

Jack, Sue, Cheryl, and John,

I will always remember the way Joanne's face would light up when someone entered the room. She was a genuine, caring, and thoughtful woman, who always took time to ask how you were doing. The day of John's wedding, she was just radiant, so excited for her son on his special day. And her grandchildren, each one grasping a special place in her heart as they meant everything to her. The world is a better place because of her being and she will always be a better part of our lives. Peace.

Ed, Sue, Caitlin, Sean & Steven,

Joanne was a sweet and lovely woman who is surely missed. We only saw her at holidays and special occasions like weddings, birthdays, graduations, etc so our memories are joyous. We were blessed to know her.

Love,

Betsi, John, Erica & Lucas
