Didn’t know Ray that well but When ever we had the chance to meet I always felt he was a. intelligent and decent person who only had good things to say about others. We both enjoyed listening to our audiobooks. Rest in peace and GOD Bless.

Mr. Chatelain was a good man and a kind man. Always greeted me with a smile at church. Years ago, I remember him trimming the hedge on his corner, always looked perfect. He was in Scouts with my dad, Bob. Our deepest sympathy to Joan, Jim and their family.

I was lucky enough to grow up just down the block from Uncle Ray and his family. Of course we saw each other every Sunday at the Methodist Church just around the corner from his house. Uncle Ray always had a big smile for us and he would laugh at our lamest joke.
I was always in awe that Uncle Ray worked at the huge RCA facility doing all sorts of technical things. He inspired me to follow into a rewarding career in electrical engineering.
I posted some photos from my mother's 90th birthday picnic, about four years ago. My mom is Uncle Ray's sister Eleanor. While my mother is shy and reserved, Uncle Ray is the life of the party!
I will miss Uncle Ray.

Mr. Chatelain always had a smile on his face and a joke for anyone within the sound of his voice. I always enjoyed being with him when we were growing up in the church. I have fond memories of church picnics with the Chatelains and other church families. He was a wonderful man who lived a true Christian life.
