Barbara Rhoades Obituary
Evansville, Ind. - Barbara S. (Kuebler) Rhoades, 83, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Bethel Manor.
Barbara was born in Evansville, Indiana on January 30, 1938 to the late Carl and Virginia "Bettye" Kuebler. She graduated from beauty school in her 40's. Barbara worked as a hair stylist for Rosie's in North Park and later opened her own business called Barb's Beauty Den, where she worked for 15 years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling and was crafty.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Jeff (Joann) Steffen of Wadesville, IN and Marvin Steffen of Quincy, FL; brother, Carl Kuebler (Debbie) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Adam Steffen (Marie) of Louisville, KY, Amber Steffen (Mike) of Evansville, IN, Johnny Steffen (Elizabeth) of Grand Ridge, FL; Darrell Steffen (Lizabeth) of Quincy, FL, Allison Steffen of Tallahassee, FL, Bailey Macon (Widden) of Huntsville, AL; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rhoades; and two grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Steffen.
Private services will be held with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
