I was hit very bad when I got the message of her death. I remember her as a real friendly person and I am glad that I could meet her in her house some years ago. Since then I was in e-mail contact with her.
To Ferne's Family, which I count to my friends: I feel with you, special today when you have to go with her the last way on earth. Sorry, but I am on my way home from Italy so I wasn't able to find a other way to contact you.

To Ferne's Family, Fern did the most beautiful photos of anyone I know. She took my photo at age 23 and I have always loved it. She was so sweet and talented. I regret that she went out of business before I had a chance to get my daughters picture by her. I know you will miss her dearly. Sincere Sympathy, Pat
