Heather Powell, 18, of Evansville, went to heaven to be with her father, Claude Lee Powell, Jr., on Friday, January 1, 2016. She was born March 6, 1997, in Evansville, IN, to Claude Lee and Melinda Gail (Taylor) Powell.
She was a student at Bosse High School.
Heather is survived by her mother, Melinda; brothers, Chris and Benjamin; and sisters, Tricia and Elizabeth.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2016, at Howell General Baptist Church, 1520 Delmar Ave., Evansville, IN 47712, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin. Friends and family may visit Friday from 10:00 AM until the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Howell General Baptist Church. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderWestChapel.com.

We're so sorry we never got to know Heather better. We only got to know her through letters and pictures sent from her mom.
