Jack DeHaven Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Jack R. DeHaven, 72, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Jack was born in Evansville, IN on August 14, 1938 to Thomas and Lorene (Brown) DeHaven. Jack worked as a security guard for Anderson Corporation at the Whirlpool location. He was a member of the Bible Center Cathedral. During his free time, Jack enjoyed working in his garden. Interested in visiting new places, Jack liked traveling. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
Jack is survived by his wife of 23 years, Beverly (Ruff) DeHaven of Evansville, IN, daughters, Deanna Taylor of Evansville, IN, Jacquline DeHaven of Evansville, IN, Eva Montgomery (Ronnie) of Evansville, IN, Crystal Alexander of Shawneetown, IL, Debbie Embry (Bobby) of Baskett, KY, sons, Joseph DeHaven of GA, Billy Pfingston of Evansville, IN, sisters, Dorothy Lutz (Donald) of Evansville, IN, Mary Lutz (Virgil) of Evansville, IN, Helen Cox of Evansville, IN, brothers, Thomas Dehaven (Wilma) of Evansville, IN, Bob DeHaven (Verline) of Evansville, IN, James DeHaven (Connie) of Evansville, IN, 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Alan Shelby officiating. Burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dream Center, 4630 Bayard Park Evansville, IN 47713.
