Evansville, IN

Jeannie Marie Turner, 64, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. She was born on May 10, 1954 in Evansville, IN to the late Elgan and Edna

Jeannie retired from ARC of Evansville after more than 30 years of service. She is a former member of Saint Theresa Catholic Church and was active in the SPRED group at Saint Anthony Catholic Church. Jeannie was an active participant in the Special Olympics and enjoyed bowling.

Jeannie is survived by her step mother, Betsy Turner; sisters, Sheila Jackson and Rebecca Marshall; brothers, Michael and William Turner and nieces and nephews.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Debbie Turner and Lucinda Belwood.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, April 26, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 North First Avenue. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
