Joyce Greiner Obituary
Evansville, Ind. - Joyce Marie Greiner, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Brookdale Assisting Living Center in Nashville, TN.
Joyce was born in Crossville, Illinois on August 24, 1941 to the late Grady and Anna (Brown) Pryor on August 24, 1941. She graduated from North High School and attended Peabody/ Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.
Joyce married Dr. Donald A. Greiner on May 25, 1963. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2010 after 46 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Joyce spent many years wintering in Chicago to spend time with her granddaughters, spring in New Smyrna Beach, FL, her home away from away, and Evansville with her oldest granddaughter.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Lynn Greiner Kent of Evansville, IN and Debbie Militante (Gary) of Nashville, TN ; granddaughters, Ashlyn Kent, of Columbus, OH, Reagan Militante, and Rylen Militante both of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Hornbrook (Bob); nieces, Sheryl Moore (Dale) and Tammy Guth (Tim).
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47711.
Private services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home with Father Jason Gries officiating. Burial will be private at Park Lawn Cemetery on Monday.
In lieu of memorial contributions, I ask that you bring a card for my family to share with a note of a laughter we shared, a tear we may have shed. I have been blessed to have you a part of our life and I hope I have blessed yours in some way. My love to all of you -Joyce.

Lynn and Debbie. We had so many special times with your mom and dad. We enjoyed New Smyrna many times and many dental trips. Such a pretty picture of her. Our love , thoughts and prayers to both of you and your families. Know you will miss her.

Lynn and Debbie, I am so sorry to read of your mom's passing. I remember her as that bubbly mom in the cute tennis skirts at ECC. It makes my heart smile to think of her! She was always to pleasant to be with. You are in my thoughts and prayers as your mourn her passing.
