Marlene Goode, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arvel Goode; sisters, Hope Sloan, Jean Summers; sister-in-law, Betty White.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Debra White (Barry); grandchildren, Gina Salmon, Michael Salmon (Casey), and Jaclyn Burkhalter (Patrick); five great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and brother-in-law, Carl White.
Marlene was a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Marlene's family extends a special thank you to Octavias Renea and the staff of Heritage Hospice for their care and support.

I'm so sorry for your loss I just found out today thru family she had passed away I loved Marlene and my Mother Freda Tabor Loved her to death and they were very close I tried to reach her back several months ago to let her know her Cousin Darrel Austin had passed away but couldn't reach her at her home are by phone and to find out she passed away and I wasn't told till today forgive me I would have been there if I had known Sincerely Kay Goodmon.
