Of Elberfeld IN.

Mitchell Keith Cox 65, of Elberfeld, passed away, Monday, August 31, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 7, 1955 in Mt. Vernon IN to Charles J. & Marjorie E. (Kester) Cox.

Mitch was retired from the Union Local 561 in Evansville after some 38 years as a laborer. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially on their farm (Cox's Shamrock Farm).

He was welcomed into Heaven by his son, Kurtis Mark Cox and his parents, sister, Brenda K. Winternheimer, brother, Wendalenous Joel Cox.

Mitch is survived by his wife, Debra Ann (Alvey) Cox, son, Kevin (Katherine) Cox, daughter, Rachelle Marie Tonwar, grandchildren Rachel Maye Cox, Kristen Denise Cox, Nikhai Kaden Tonwar, Nishant Kyler Tonwar, Samahra Coryn Tonwar, brothers, Rodger (Jane Anne) Cox, Charles D. (Claudette) Cox, sister in law Linda Cox and brother in law Bill Winternheimer.

A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Nobles Chapel Cemetery officiated by Rev. Steve Oeth.

Arrangements are being handled by the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm St. Elberfeld IN. 47613, (812) 983-4211.
