Weiler, Philip J. Jr., 86, of Ridgewood, N.J., passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014.
Beloved husband of the late Joan H. Weiler, who pre-deceased him in 2001, and son of the late Philip and Edna Weiler. Loving father of Philip R. Weiler, of Vero Beach, Fla., Elizabeth Weiler and husband, James Shanahan, of Cranford, N.J., and Virginia L. Weiler and husband, Dr. Daniel Brown, of Evansville, Ind. Cherished grandfather of Carolyn E. and Christine J. Shanahan and Philip H. Brown. Caring brother of Anne Marie Weiler and Charles O. Weiler, of Lynbrook, N.Y.
Philip served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and subsequently worked in the banking industry for most of his life.
Family and friends may visit Friday, August 15, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, N.J. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Saddle River, followed by burial at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.
