Richard Pohl Obituary
Evansville - Richard Raymond Pohl, age 73, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home with his family.
Richard was born June 13, 1947 in Evansville to the late Arthur C. Jr., and Beatrice C. (Overlin) Pohl. He worked in tool and die as a mold maker at B & D Mold before retiring from General Electric in Mt. Vernon. Richard was a 1965 graduate of North High School and served on the class reunion committee. He was an avid motorcycle rider; a member of the BMW MOA and a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association.
Surviving Richard are a daughter, Debra Pohl of Evansville; son, Brian Pohl of Poseyville; brothers, Arthur C. (Marge) Pohl, III and Donald E. Pohl and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Kay (Woehler) Pohl in 2012.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery. Pierre Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
