Roger Saldana Obituary

Roger R. Saldana

Newburgh - Roger R. Saldana, 85, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1934 in Bataan, Philippines to the late Francisco Saldana and Maxima (Reyes) Saldana. He previously worked as a chemical engineer.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dr. Leyte Asuncion; four children, Roley Saldana, Christie O'Connell, Grace Eidsvoog, and Neil Saldana; four grandchildren, LeiHahn Saldana, Ehren Saldana, Rafiel Saldana, and Easton O'Connell; two siblings, Normalita Pizarro and Julian Saldana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd. Newburgh, IN 47630. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2020, with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St. Newburgh, IN 47630, (812) 853-8314. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, 10 a.m. to service time at the church

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
