Ruth Kramer Obituary
Ruth Marie (Underwood) Kramer passed away on February 2, 2020. She was born on December 4, 1939, in Patoka, Indiana, to Maurice and H. Pearl (Stevens) Underwood. Ruthie graduated from Fort Branch High School and Oakland City College. She taught Jr. High English for one year at Patoka High School. On January 12, 1963, Ruthie married William (Bill) Kramer. They had five children. Ruthie was an amazing seamstress, who custom-made wedding dresses for many brides, often working from pictures in magazines. She was a long-time member of North Haven General Baptist Church.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents and sisters-in-law Ann Underwood and Sue Kramer. She is survived by her husband Bill, children Marti (Daniel) Suddarth, Bill (Ruthie) Kramer, Jr., Emily (Kenny) Eberhardt, Nancy Kramer, and Alice (James) Doane; grandchildren Kate (Mike Perron) Suddarth, Scott Suddarth, Abigail Suddarth, Billy Kramer III, Logan Eberhardt, Jessica Eberhardt, Cory Doane, and Rebecca Doane; sister Marnica (Keith) Wilhite, brother Ron (Joyceann) Underwood; and brothers-in-law John (Connie) and Tom Kramer.
She was laid to rest near her parents at Patoka Oak Hill Cemetery, with a memorial service at North Haven General Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the General Baptist a Faith Home: https://gbimissions.com/project/ruth-marie-kramer-memorial/
