Angela Silano Ranucci, age 82, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the wife of Victor Ranucci, Sr. Born in Flumeri, Province of Avellino, Italy on March 16, 1933; she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Maria Befara Silano. She was predeceased by her son, Victor Ranucci, Jr. and three sisters, Carmela Giacobbe, Giuseppina Giacobbe and Angela Tarantino. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and lived her life Christ-like, believing that you are more blessed to give than to receive. She always gave to others, helping those that were sick. Angela was a very hard working woman both inside and outside of her home. She will be missed dearly. In addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, Victor, other survivors include her son, Ralph Ranucci, Sr. and his wife Verena of Bridgeport, her grandson, Ralph Ranucci, Jr, her brother, Peter Silano of Florida and her sister, Rose Feola, also of Florida. Friends are invited to go directly to St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave, Bridgeport on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
