Anthony Pecora Obituary
Anthony Pecora, age 76, of Shelton, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Cynthia (Smarzik) Pecora. Anthony was born in Hazelton, PA on June 15, 1945, son of the late Rocco and Mary (Cusatis) Pecora, and was raised in Bridgeport. He lived in Shelton for twenty-five years. Anthony was a real estate broker owning and operating United Realty for over 30 years. He is the beloved father of Anthony Pecora and his wife Mary and Angela Pecora and cherished grandfather of Rebecca and Jonathan Pecora and Carmine and Gianni Gizzi. He is also survived by his brother Rocco Pecora and his wife Mary Jo, nephew Michael Fanell and his wife Maria, and several other nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Masks are required at visitation. His funeral procession will leave the parlor on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church in Shelton. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Online condolences can be offered at www.riverviewfh.com.

Anthony Pecora will be sorely missed. Anthony was a kind man. He was a very good man with a big heart, always willing to help or contribute wherever he was able. Anthony was youngest of seven children. He had a sister and five brothers and eighteen nieces and nephews. No matter circumstances or geographical separation, Brotherly love always prevailed. Now Anthony is in the presence of the Lord and we pray God´s Blessings for him. To his family, we extend sincere condolences. May He Rest In Peace. AMEN!
