Wayne D. Letalien, 77, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at John Dempsey Hospital. He was the beloved widower of Anne R. Letalien who passed away in 2024. Wayne was born in Bristol on December 15, 1948, and was the son of the late Albert and Virginia (Brouker) Kalbach. Wayne was in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War in 1968-1969. He was a Master Electrician who, along with his brother Keith, owned Letalien Electric up until his retirement. Wayne loved music, especially the guitar, which he enjoyed playing. Wayne is survived by his daughter Karri Boucher and her husband Andre, his grandson Hollis Boucher of Meriden and step-grandaughters Emma, Abby, and Bryn Boucher of Shelton. He is also survived by his brother Keith (Nancy) Letalien, sister Cheryl (Jerry) Gerrish, sister Ginger Brezza, brother Walter (Lisa) Kalbach, sister Diann Campbell, brothers Lenny (Barbara) and Alan (Linda) Kalbach, and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his wife Anne Letalien, parents Albert Letalien and Virginia Kalbach, and a nephew John Stratton. Very special thanks to his neighbors Rich and Pat Lasky and his sister-in-law Joyce Chabre for their help during his illness. "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

At the family's request, all services for Wayne will be held privately. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, CT 06010 is honored to be handling Wayne's arrangements.
