Patrick M. Pat Kelley, 57, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday (February 1, 2026) at home. Pat was born on September 30, 1968, in Bristol and was the son of Jeannette M. (Mazerolle) Kelley Giola of Bristol and the late Jack Kelley. A lifelong Bristol resident, Pat graduated from Bristol Central High School Class of 1986 where he was on the football and wrestling teams. After high school, he attended Connecticut Central State University Class of 1991 and earned his bachelor's degree in business management. He then went on to study at the University of Hartford Class of 2003 and received his master's degree in business administration. Pat worked in various roles at Aetna for 25 years. He was a die-hard fan of the Miami Dolphins and was a regular at Powerhouse Gym in Bristol. In addition to his mother, Pat is survived by his stepfather: Edmond Giola; his sister: Kathleen Kelley of Wallingford; his two beloved nieces: Jessica and Julia Zettergren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday between 4 and 7 p.m..
