Brian D. Carlson

Brian Carlson, 68, of Bristol, CT, died on Friday (January 23, 2026). He was born on May 3, 1957, in Bristol and was a son of the late Robert and Betty (Peterson) Carlson. He graduated from Bristol Central High School, was an Eagle Scout, and served 3 years in the U.S. Army. He worked as a machinist at Parr Manufacturing in Farmington.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Gary and Bridget Grieve-Carlson of Annville, PA; by his nephew Timothy Grieve-Carlson of Pittsburgh, PA; by his niece Jessye Grieve-Carlson of Baltimore, MD; and by his niece Grace Grieve-Carlson of Brooklyn, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (February 7, 2026) at 10 AM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial, with military honors, will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol.
