Bruce Marlow Obituary

Marlow, Bruce
Bruce Alexander Marlow, 57 Bruce Marlow died on Friday May 31,2013 at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born January 19,1956 at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT he grew up in Huntington, CT. Predeceased by his father Alexander Luis Marlow October 16, 1989. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Martha (Marti) Marlow of Annapolis MD where they resided.Step Daughter Kara Orr Rogers and husband Baron as well as granddaughter Claire of Chattanooga, TN. Brothers Scott Marlow and wife Joyce of Milford, CT , Clint Marlow and wife Valerie of Barrington, IL. Sisters Heidi Marlow-Rydene and husband Michael of Niantic, CT and Amy Marlow of New Britain, CT as well as multiple loving nieces and nephews and his faithful dog Lily. Bruce was a graduate of University of Connecticut with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked as such for 31 years up until 3 years ago when he started his own home inspection business. Bruce loved adventure. He enjoyed boating, traveling, cars as well as any new electronic gadget. Bruce would make it a point to keep up with The Simpsons, Family Guy and was known to watch Diane Sawyer on a nightly basis. What can I say he was quite an eclectic man. Bruce loved to drive his Mazda Miata and even figured a way to carry a full size ladder on it. This would be incomplete if I did not mention his love of music as well. There will be a memorial in Annapolis, MD on Saturday July 27th at 5pm at Bay Ridge Club House. A crab fest in his honor! My brother Bruce had the best sense of humor, made his dreams a reality and saw the forest for the trees. Bruce Alexander Marlow will be terribly missed by those who knew him.
