Crispin Penny Obituary
Crispin Joseph Penny Jr. age 40, of Bridgeport, passed away June 17, 2014 in his home. Crispin was born in Trinidad and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. He received his Associate's Degree from Housatonic Community College and earned a degree in graphic design from Gibbs College. He was currently one of the night shift supervisors at BJ's in Bridgeport. He was an army veteran, serving in Desert Storm and an active member of various veteran organizations. He was predeceased by his loving and devoted mother Patricia Penny. Survivors include his loving father Crispin Joseph Penny Sr. of Bridgeport; his daughter Imani Penny of Bridgeport; his brother Ian G. Penny of New Haven, his sister Nikiesha Penny-Diaz and her husband Carlos of FL; two nieces Alysha and Alexis Diaz and nephew Aaden Diaz. His grandmother Rita Penny of Queens and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at 10:00 am directly at St. Peter's Church 695 Colorado Ave. Bpt. Interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery. Bpt. with full military honors. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 4-8 pm at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Memorial contributions may made to the disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301 Cincinatti, OH 45250 or the American Cancer Society 38 Richards Ave. Norwalk, CT 06854.
