Dean Baron-Krieger Obituary
A new star has been added to the heavens. Dean M. Baron-Krieger 51, of Vernon, CT and previously Enfield, CT has joined many family members in heaven on Sunday, August 17, 2014, after a very brief illness. He has gone ahead to save a place for his loving husband of 20 years, Peter M. Baron-Krieger. Dean was born April 4, 1963 to the late Jeanne (Baron) Kissell, Erwin & Jeannette Baron. He graduated from Enrico Fermi High and served for a short period of time in the U.S. Army. He was recently employed at the Copier Connection, prior to that Comcast, Aetna and Darden Restaurants. Dean loved to cook & eat, (especially Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream) he enjoyed entertaining family & friends, was a regular lottery scratch ticket player, setback and blackjack player and casinos were his second love after Peter. Besides his husband, he is survived by 4 wonderful children, Marlee, Madison, Morgan and Melody our Westie's & Scotties, also an aunt Carol Andress, uncle Paul Baron and his wife Margaret; an aunt Lisa Salmon and her husband Gary; a brother, James Arsenault and his wife Christine; a sister, Renee Johnson and her husband Adam, brother-in-laws Steven Krieger and his wife Susan, and Gary Krieger as well as cousins, nephews and nieces and many priceless friends. A Celebration of Dean's Life will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester. Interment will be private. Family and Friends may call on Mon. August 25, from 4 to 7 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran -Special Music Fund, 60 Church St., Manchester, CT. 06040 or to M.A.C.C. Samaritan Shelter (the homeless shelter in Manchester where Dean & Pete frequently served) P.O. Box 3804, Manchester, CT. 06045-3804. My God my friend - even though I have not seen you in 30 years I will never forget you. You were always a bright star at The Eatery and made many, many people very happy. We always had to double seat you because everyone wanted your table.
