Edward Romano

ROMANO Edward Romano, age 60, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Jean Romano. He is survived by three cherished sons: Keith Romano of Monroe, Matthew Romano of Jacksonville, FL and Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Romano of Southbury. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph Romano of Clearwater FL, and Dennis Romano of East Haven. Born in New Haven on June 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Joseph and Gloria Savino Romano. Ed worked for Viacom as a Director of Communications and had a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He also served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a long time parishioner and daily communicant at St. Stephen's Parish in Trumbull, and most recently at St. Thomas the Apostle in Oxford. Ed also worshipped at the House of Prayer in Clearwater, Fla. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Ed's life at: Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, on Tuesday, May 13th from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Johns Cemetery, Monroe.
