Elsa Tsokalas Obituary
Tsokalas- Elsie ( Elsa ) Garcia Tsokalas, age 84, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Born in Providence, RI, Elsa had lived in New Milford and later Bridgeport where she resided for most of her life. A loving and caring woman, Elsa will be remembered as being deeply dedicated to her family and will be greatly missed by family and her many friends. Survivors include her sons, James Tsokalas and his wife Rachael of Hebron, Ct and Anthony Tsokalas and his companion Rosemarie Rigano of White Plains, NY, her grandchildren Jason Tsokalas and Jinger Kalin and a great-granddaughter Parker Kalin. Elsa leaves behind her brother, Lee Garcia of Bridgeport as well as her former daughter in law Cynthia Tsokalas. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 4-7pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service to be held at 7pm. I thank you heaven for providing me a grandmother that gave us life and shared her love for all my beautiful family. And while here on earth, she gave us numerous memories for me to hold onto. I know she must now return home. Godspeed my Yaya.
