Eric Anderson Obituary

ANDERSON Mr. Eric O. Anderson, age 48 of Seymour, died unexpectedly Monday, January 28, 2008 at his home. He was the widower of Gail "Joanie" (Stankosky) Anderson. Mr. Anderson was born in Bridgeport on August 27, 1959, son of Richard "Dick" and Helen "Billie" Anderson. He was employed as a C.N.A. at the Rose Garden Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waterbury and was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Seymour. He loved music and was very spiritual and dedicated many years of his life as a C.N.A. to helping the elderly. Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, Eric I.E. Anderson of Seymour; two daughters, Heather Ann D'Alessio and her husband, James Scott D'Alessio of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. and Ashley April Horne and her husband, Brian Joseph Horne of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Smith and her husband, Mark Smith of Prospect; two grandchildren, Zane Sebastian D'Alessio and Versailles Arianna D'Alessio of Kill Devil Hills; and six nieces and nephews, Katya, Vanya, Tanya, Matthew, Katerina and Evan Smith of Prospect. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 7 p.m. in the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69 Prospect. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Stratford on Thursday, February 7 at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 5,2008 from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

Eric was a very good person, compassionate man, awesome friend, and a man who lived for his wife and children. Many hearts will break knowing he is gone. I send my condolences to his family and friends. I will miss him greatly!!! So sad to hear this news.
