Francis Dobkowski
Francis A. "Fran" Dobkowski, age 84, of Shelton, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday July 22, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Helen (Puopolo) Dobkowski. Fran was born in Bayonne, NJ on March 8, 1937 the son of the late Frank and Helen (Padla) Dobkowski. Besides his wife Helen, Fran is survived by his daughter Cheryl Rizza and her husband Joseph, his son David Dobkowski and his wife Lorraine, his grandchildren Jared and Kevin Dobkowski, and his brother John Dobkowski. Friends are invited to greet his family on Tuesday July 27 from 4 to 7 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. On Wednesday friends are invited to go directly to St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Ln. Shelton, at 11 AM for Fran's Mass of Christian Burial. His burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Online condolences can be left for his family at www.riverviewfh.com.
