Sandy graduated from Bishop Eustace High School in 1962. He earned his bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's University and his master's degree from Ohio State University. Sandy worked as a Computer Systems Manager for Delmarva Power for over 30 years.
Sandy was an avid traveler. His frequent trips to Costa Rica were easily the favorite of destinations. Colder months were filled with card and football games and warmer ones on the beach and fishing at his summer home in Cape May. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his brothers Leon (the late Tracy) Dobkowski, Edward (Frances) Dobkowski, nephew Leon Dobkowski (Eric Launder), niece Tracy (Tom) Teschko and great nephew Tayden Teschko.
Friends may greet the family on Friday, January 5, 2023 at 10am at Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Avenue, Woodbury, NJ. A memorial service will follow at 11am at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Alexander's name to The Clean Wave, a non-profit devoted to the cleaning and preservation of all 600 of Costa Rica's beaches.
