Lawrence Headley Obituary
He is survived by his devoted companion of 20 years, Anna D'Ambrosio, and her children Nicole Jaconetti and Sarah (Jay) DiBartolomeo and the grandchildren; his children, pre-deceased, Gregory A. Eliasen (Patricia), Douglas Eliasen, and Stephen J. (Kristina) Eliasen; Christopher J. Headley, his grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Lauren and Kevin Eliasen, Samantha Zucker, Julia, Victoria, and Maggie Eliasen, Matthew and Luke Headley; and his great grandchild, Landon Gregory Eliasen.
Born and raised in Woodbury, Larry graduated from Woodbury High School in 1964 and earned his bachelor's degree from Temple University in 1969. Following college, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp.
Larry made his home in West Deptford for more than 40 years, becoming a well known and respected real estate developer in Gloucester County. For over thirty years, he owned and operated Headley Homes, leaving a lasting mark through his dedication, craftsmanship, and vision.
He loved to travel, and his favorite destination was Aruba. He especially enjoyed traveling there with Anna, as well as the Florida Keys.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Ignatious), his parents, Helen Jakubowski and Raymond Headley, and his siblings, Gertrude Selfridge, Andrew Headley and Loretta McKenna. Larry loved his nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family after 10am on Friday, February 6, in the Budd Funeral Home, 522 Salem Avenue, Woodbury, NJ. Memorial service will be at 11am. Interment with military honors will follow in Eglington Mausoleum, Clarksboro, NJ.
