Fredric Cilbrith Obituary

CILBRITH Fredric H. Cilbrith Sr., age 68, beloved husband of Patricia Daly Cilbrith, of Bridgeport, died on Monday, April 21, 2003, in St.Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Ridgefield, he was the son of the late William and Irma Tousey Cilbrith, and had been a longtime resident of Bridgeport. He served in the United States Army during peacetime and operated his own trucking company, before working for, and retiring from Sikorsky Aircraft. Fred wasa member of the Teamsters local 1150 and 190 Catholic War Veterans- Bower council, Port Five Naval Veterans, Bridgeport Boat Owners Association, the Sikorsky Retirees club, and the Sikorsky Fishing club. Fred was an avid fisherman, and really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In additional to his devoted wife of 37 years, he will be remembered by his children, Fredric Cilbrith Jr., and his wife, Kathleen, of Milford, Robert Cilbrith, and his fiance, Kathleen Kelley, of Wallingford, Kelli Cilbrith, of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Fredric III, Sarah, and Kailee Cilbrith, Matthew Cilbrith; one brother, Thomas Cilbrith, and his wife, Frances, of Derby; additional brother and sister, William and Irma Cilbrith; two nephews, Sean and Jason Cilbrith. Calling hours are Wednesday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m. in the LESKO FUNERAL HOME, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield center. Friends may join his family DIRECTLY at St. Ann Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. for his Mass of Christian Burial. A private Interment will take place in Mountain Grove cemetery.
