Martha and family, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I'm glad I ran into him at dinner last summer. I thank you for the donations to the DAV as I am Past State Commander. Unfortunately I am leaving for DC at
10:00AM to visit the wounded at Bethesda and Walter Reed and can't make the wake. I'll miss him.

Martha,
My sincere sympathy to you and the family. I will never forget Gordy and what he did for me and men like me. When I had a problem, I went to Gordy because of his example. He picked me up for 90 straight days and took me to meetings whether I wanted to go or not and stayed close to me for two years after until I moved away.. As a result of his care and concern I celebrated 28 years in March. He will always be my sponsor and if I know him at all, he is trying to pave the way for me in heaven where he has to be. All my love, Fred

To the Edwards Family,
I go all the way back to Harvey Hubbell with Gordie and then was with him as a fellow police officer in Fairfield.
He was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. You have my sincere sympathy.
