Hilda Sherr Obituary

SHERR Hilda Sherr, age 89, a nine year resident of West Orange, NJ, formerly of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Daughters of Israel, N.J. Mrs. Sherr was born in London, England, a daughter of the late Abraham and Rebecca (Bialystock) Sheradzky, and was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim of Bridgeport and Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel of South Orange, N.J. Mrs. Sherr is survived by her nephew, Howard Gellis and his wife, Joan, of Short Hills, N,J.; her nieces, Arlene Gellis Segal and her husband, Norman, of Deerfield, Ill., Rebecca Sherr-Zuber and her husband, Beat, of Long Island, N.Y. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in England, great nieces and nephews of Chicago, New Jersey, England, Long Island and Israel. Services will take place on Thursday February 17, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Agudas Achim Cemetery on Reid Street in Fairfield. The Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, is in care of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Sharey Tefilo Israel, 432 Scottland Rd. South Orange, NJ 07079.

Please accept our heartfelt condolensces. We were close friends many years . Our special wishes go out to Howard and Arlene. We have many fond memories of the Gellis family and we are truly saddened by this loss. We regret that we cannot attend the funeral, as we are in Florida.
