Jay Quinlan Obituary

Jay Christopher Quinlan
Jay Christopher Quinlan, age 50, died unexpectedly from complications of internal bleeding causing kidney and liver failure on January 20, 2024. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on March 29, 1973.
Jay was the son of Suzan and Gregory Quinlan of Shelton, CT /Tampa, Florida.
He is survived by his former wife Jessica and beloved daughter Olivia, his brother Shaun and his wife Brooke and niece Delaney, his aunt and uncle Erin and Jack Quinlan.
Jay graduated from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT, class of '91 and Central Connecticut State University Class of '95.
Jay was a longtime executive chef at the Farms Country Club of Wallingford and most recently at Race Brook Country Club in Orange.
Those who knew Jay well, will remember his love for cooking for family and friends, spending time with his daughter Olivia and his passion for sports; his love for the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in the Spring.
Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT.
Donations may be made to his daughter's education fund through the funeral home.
