Joan Dirga Obituary

DIRGA Joan A. Jablonski Dirga, age 77, of Stratford, passed away on Friday July 30, 2010 at St. Joseph's Manor Trumbull. Joan, a retired Secretary for the Stratford Condominium Association was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Victoria (Maziarz) Jablonski and has been a life long area resident. She was previously employed as an Office Manager for E.I. Company. Survivors include two nieces Victoria Thornberg, and Susan Maloney; a nephew John Panda; three great-nieces, Alexis, and Jenna Thornberg and Cathy Maloney. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Ted Jablonski and a sister, Lorraine Panda. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday August 4th at 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Rev. John Stronkowski officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to the Connecticut Humane Society 455 Post Road Westport, CT. 06884 For more information or to make an online condolence please visit www.adzimafuneralhome.com.
