Leigh Dirga Obituary
Leigh Dirga, age 47, of Milford, passed away suddenly in her home on July 28, 2023. Leigh was born in Bridgeport on December 15, 1975, beloved daughter of Peter Dirga of Milford and the late Sharon Browning Dirga, and was a lifelong Milford resident. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid. Leigh enjoyed bowling and had a perfect 300 game to her credit. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours nurturing the plants and vegetables she grew. She loved animals and had many pets over the years that she took good care of and enjoyed. She enjoyed watching Yankees games with her father. She will be missed. Survivors in addition to her father, include her devoted siblings, Denise Carroll, Michelle Murphy (Richard), nieces and nephews, Michael, Jonathan, and Andrew Carroll, Madison and Jake Murphy, Jennifer (Aaron) Berez, along with many cousins and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Raymond T. Carroll. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 11th from 10 -11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Hi Leigh, although we lost touch after high school, I will never forget auto motive class, you pulled me through with a mean oil change and tought me how to change a tire. Thank you for the memories. Tell Honey I said hi.
