John Dirga Obituary
John Nicholas Dirga (84). After a long illness, John passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 13. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Nancy (Anastasia), his brother, Fred, and his beloved son, Timothy. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda J. Harris, his daughter, Elizabeth (Matt), his son, John (Katherine), his sister, Lydia, four nieces and one nephew.
John graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1957, where he was a member of the state championship football team. He graduated from Yale University in 1961 (BE) and The University of Connecticut (MBA).
He was employed by General Dynamics, The Electric Boat Company in Groton and by Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY.
In his honor, contributions will be gratefully accepted by The Mary Cariola Children's Center, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 100, Rochester, New York 14620, [email protected] .

Linda, Elizabeth and John, I wish I had known this sooner. I am so very sorry your loss. "Uncle Jack" will always hold a special place in my heart. From stories of when my parents and he were young to the my days with Kodak.
