John Fitzgerald Obituary
John R. (Jack) Fitzgerald, age 88, of Shelton, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Griffin Hospital in Derby with loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 57 years of the late Jean McEvoy Fitzgerald.
Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 7 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. His procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, Shelton. Burial with full military honors will follow at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, CT 06484 or Griffin Hospital Development Fund, 130 Division Street, Derby, CT 06418.
His family would like to thank Dr. John Farens, his dedicated staff, and the staff of Griffin Hospital for their wonderful care and kindness shown to Jack and his family over the years.
