Reh, John "Jack" H.
John (Jack) H. Reh, Sr. of Trumbull, CT, passed away peacefully amongst love and laughter on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 with his loving wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by his side. Jack was born December 16, 1923 in Bridgeport, Conn. Jack was the son of Francis and Ethel Haviland Reh. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Fleming and brothers, Francis and Donald H. Reh. A veteran of WWII, Jack was a true patriot and was honored to have served his country. He spent his younger years working at Carpenter Steel, and went on to own J & H Crown Food Stores of Bridgeport and the Sassafras of Huntington. Later, he spent his years of retirement working alongside his family at The Corner Deli of Trumbull. A devout Catholic, Jack's love of God, the Blessed Mother and his church was evident every Sunday as he helped prepare the baskets for the early morning mass at his beloved St. Theresa Church in Trumbull. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 75 years Helen Atanas Reh of Trumbull, a sister, Sandra Dansereau of Bridgeport, his children Gail and her husband Bob Patrignelli of Trumbull, Jack and his wife Carol Reh of Huntington, Donna and her husband Benjamin Sharpe of Huntington, his twelve grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Nick Costantini, Dr. Robert Patrignelli, Kelly and her husband John Santiago, Julie and her husband Bob McKelvey, Lori and her husband Geoff Haenn, Marybeth and her husband Michael Trafecante, Heather and her husband Richard Uva, Ronald Ragona, Danielle and her husband Keith Hall, John and his wife Megan Reh, Carrie Adam, Jonathan Adam, twenty-four great grandchildren, and two great-great granddaughters that will forever cherish his memory. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment with full military honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
