In addition to her mother, Josephine is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Kovalik of Milford; their three daughters, Krista Guarnieri and her husband Mike, Michelle Kovalik and Lauren Kovalik and her finace Matt Fuentes, all of Milford; one grandchild, Parker John Guarnieri; her siblings, Richard DiBlasi of East Haven and Victoria Demotses of FL; her nieces, Leann Weston of Seymour and Rosemarie Brossman of CA, as well as many other cherished nieces and nephews. Friends and family may gather on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10 to 11a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. 06460. Mom , I miss you still so so much it's been 14 years and I miss your way of life , you were nonjudgmental, always kind , and had real compassion for everyone , and helped anyone and everyone with out any questions, if you saw how your other daughters are acting now after dad died you'd be so upset , but I still stand strong and do the right thing as you taught me , I miss your shine and your love

I am so sad to hear of Josie's passing. Josie babysat for me nearly 15 years ago and I will never forget the couple summers I spent at her house. She was a generous, loving person. To Michelle and the rest of the Kovalik family, I send my deepest condolences.
