Louise DiJulio Obituary

DiJULIO Louise E. (Testani) DiJulio, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Henry Raymond DiJulio Sr. died Friday, January 14, 2005, at St.Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mrs. DiJulio was born September 6, 1911, in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Vincenzo) Testani. She was a resident of Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull more than 25 years ago. She worked at her family bakery business, Ann's Bakery, for more than 20 years. She also helped manage DiJulio's Restaurant. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Bridgeport where she was also a member of the St. Theresa Guild of the church for more than 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and sister, who loved being with her family. Louise is survived by her devoted children, Henry R. DiJulio Jr. Of Trumbull, and Teresa Petricca of DelRay, Fla.; a loving sister, Ann D'Amato of Trumbull; cherished grandchildren, Paul Dijulio and his wife, Mary Ellen, Anne Castaldo and her husband, Jeffrey, Henry DiJulio and his wife, Denise, Patricia Durell and her husband, Dave, Joseph DiJulio, Phillip Petricca, Bruce Petricca and Mary Zmijewski and her husband, Richard; great-grandchildren, David, Daniel and Tony Brown, Kristen, Erin and Rachael DiJulio, Henry DiJulio IV, Dina Zmijewski and Nicole Petricca. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara DiJulio, and by brothers, Samuel, Rocco and Benjamin Testani. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 365 East Washington Avenue, in Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Garden Mausoleum in Stratford. Family and friends may call on Monday, January 17, 2005, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Route 111, in Monroe, with the St. Theresa5s Guild of Holy Rosary reciting the Rosary at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Rosary Church, 365 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. 06604. 06468.
