Madison Mate Obituary

MATE Madison Grace Mate, newborn of Monroe, beloved daughter of Tracy and Glenn Mate, entered into eternal life on Sunday August 5, 2007. Madison was born on Sunday, August 5, 2007, daughter of a firefighter, daughter to a devoted mother who prepared the most wonderful beginning of life any child could wish for. Madison entered this world only for an instant, an instant that impacted the lives of countless others, brought loved ones together and showed us that we all have the inner strengths we did not know existed. Madison brought us love, compassion, empathy and unity. Madison has left us only a positive memory of beauty, love and grace for all eternity. She will always survive in our hearts and minds for all eternity. God bless her and her family. She is survived by her brothers, Glenn E. Mate Jr., and Geoffrey A. Mate, both of Monroe; grandparents, Chris Buswell and Gale Pennell, Nancy Lee Pitney, John and Jean Mate; great-grandparents, Faye Queck and Stewart and Ann Buswell; uncles and aunts, Sean Buswell, Gerry and Carolyn Mate, Gary Mate, Mackenzie Pennell, Brianna Pennell, Amanda Pannell; and cousins, Jacqueline and Olivia Mate. Madison touched our lives for a brief moment, but will never be forgotten. Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY in church on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St Jude's Church of Monroe with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery of Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.

Tracy
I know it's been a long while since we've spoken, but when I heard of this horrible tragedy that has struck your life, I wanted to reach out to you. I am so, so, so sorry for the pain you are feeling, and for the loss of your precious daughter. Sometimes our lives turn in directions we never saw coming and leave us so wounded from the outcome. It isn't fair.

I know you must be devastated, to say the least. I hope that in time, you will feel less pain.

I am thinking of you. I'm so sorry.

To the parents and family of this precious baby. My condolences truly goes out to each and everyone of you. I don't know this family, but I just wanted to sign the guest book on behalf of your precious daughter. I am a mother who has lost her infant son on August 22, 1994. So I know exactly how you are feeling mom! My heart truly goes out to you. My prayers is that Jesus will give you and your husband and the rest of the family strength to endure the pain of losing such a precious baby. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Little Madison is now in the hands of Jesus. She's an beautiful Angel that the Lord has called home to be with him. It's okay to feel sad and cry. Because one day the Lord Jesus shall wipe away all your tears from your precious eyes. My heart was very touched when I seen your daughter's obituary in the paper. God bless and keep each and everyone of you. My deepest sympathy to you all. Take care. And my prayers are definetely with you all in this difficult time.

God Bless You,
From Bernadette McCall
