Manuel O. Guidoli

GUIDOLI Manuel O. Guidoli, age 83 of Monroe, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Eva Guidoli. Mr. Guidoli was born in Argentina and had lived in Stamford for many years prior to Monroe. The most important role in his life was being a fantastic grandpa. He was very involved in all aspects of his grandchildren's lives. He was always available to babysit or help out in any way possible, even sitting by their bedside and taking care of them when they were sick, and he loved every minute spent with them. He is survived by one son, Oscar Guidoli of Monroe; one daughter, Silvana Kokkoros and her husband, Peter, of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Raquel, Carmen, Alexander and P.J. Kokkoros and Gina and Michael Guidoli; one nephew, Marcello Guidoli of New York; two brothers in Argentina; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he had been predeceased by his son, Daniel "Donny" Guidoli and his sister, Raquel Garcia. Friends may call on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private.
