Margaret Mastrogiovanni Obituary

Margaret L. Mastrogiovanni
Margaret L. (Vane) Mastrogiovanni, of Shelton, passed away peacefully overnight in Griffin Hospital on May 5, 2020 at the age of 97. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Mastrogiovanni for 60 years. She was born in Ansonia on Nov. 28, 1922, daughter of the late Vincezo and Rosa (Alu) Vane and was a Shelton resident since 1947. Margaret was employed with Chromium Process Company and then National School Studio's until her retirement. Margaret is survived by her three beloved daughters, Frances Mastrogiovanni, her caregiver, Peggy Cosciello and her husband Ralph, and Patricia Olla and her husband Tony. She is also survived by her grandsons David Cosciello and his wife Rebecca and Mark Cosciello and her great-grandson Brock Anthony Cosciello, as well as several nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid Pandemic her burial for immediate family was held in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton at a date to be announced for the public to gather to support Margaret's family. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
