Matthew Doheny Obituary

DOHENY Matthew D. Doheny, age 46, previously of North Haven, died Monday, February 20, 2006 in Milford. Former husband of Kathy Markle Doheny, he was born in New Haven on January 31, 1960, son of Dr. James J. and Judith Doheny of St. Petersburg, Fla. and the late Maureen Foley Doheny. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 424 for more than 20 years. He was the father of Arnie, Allison Kate and Eli Markle Doheny, all of North Haven; brother of James J. (Carol) Doheny III of Cheshire, Kevin R. (Patricia) Doheny of West Haven, Dennis P. Doheny of Dania Beach, Fla., Peter M. (Marla) Doheny of Madison, Michael C. Doheny of Hamden, Daniel F. (Dina) Doheny of Milford, Margaret (Michael) Sansone of Prospect, Monica (Robert) Csejka of Orange, Christian A. Doheny of Manhattan, N.Y. and the late Mary Flynn; brother-in-law of Peter (Denise) Markle of Bethany and Daniel (Joanne) Markle of Guilford; and also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven, Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Holy Infant Church, Orange at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7295 or A Touch of Comfort, P.O.
