Michael Garnett Obituary
Michael J. Garnett, 54, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Teresa (Etrio) Garnett.
Mr. Garnett was born on February 16, 1960 in Hartford, a son of Patricia Garnett. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked as an information technician for a software company. He was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Besides his wife, Teresa he is also survived by his three daughters, Belinda Garnett, Bianca Garnett, and Holly Garnett. He also leaves his two loving granddaughters, Adrianna Wutke, and Arabella Garnett.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

I knew Mike through the Gas Co. many years ago. He was a great guy with a huge heart. I had the pleasure of attending a few summer picnics at his home with his family and friends (thanks for the Jell-O shots). I hadn't seen him for many years, but would think about him often. My condolences go out to his family.

My deepest condolences to the Garnett family. Mike and I had many fun times together in high school and later on. He always had smile and a funny word. We drifted apart over the years but I'll always remember the good times. God bless. RIP old friend.
