Michael Panda Obituary
Michael C. Panda, age 95, of Stratford the beloved widower of Frances Pruzinsky Panda, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Mike a retired expeditor for United Engineering was born in Stratford to the late George and Barbara (Remak) Panda and has been a life long Stratford resident. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force serving during WWII. Survivors include his beloved son Donald Panda and his wife Mary of Stratford, his cherished grandchildren, Patrick Panda, Mark Panda, Robert Panda and Dawn Pearson, his great grandchildren, Michele Panda and Freya Pearson, a brother John Panda of Springfield, MA, a loving companion Elizabeth Dobai, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Mike was predeceased by a son Robert C. Panda and 9 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 9:00AM in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Road, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7pm. The family request in lieu of flowers those desiring may make a donation in Michael's memory to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4138.
