Giannini, Nancy
Nancy (Papini) Giannini, 70, of Waterbury, beloved wife of John Giannini, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Wappinger Falls, NY to the late Raymond and Phyliss (Rotunda) Papini.
After receiving her MSN degree from Pace University, she was employed as an administrator for several assisted living facilities and home care agencies.
Nancy was a tea connoisseur and enjoyed collecting tea cups, saucers and pots. She was an award-winning baker, an avid reader, certified Reiki practitioner and published author.
In addition to her husband of 32 years, she is survived by her step-son John Giannini Jr. and his wife Prudence of Waterbury; step-daughter Sherri Obernier and her spouse Kenneth of Wolcott, CT; a sister, Judith Pavone and her spouse Vincent of Shelton and Carol Ann Papini, spouse of Nancy's late brother Ronald, along with four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hartford Health Care At Home Hospice, 680 Main St., Watertown, CT 06719

Ann and I always looked forward to seeing Jack and Nancy at the races. We have often wondered how Jack is doing and miss Ann's nursing friend . please give us a call sometime Jack . We are up here on a hill in New Hampshire and would really enjoy a call 603-838-5277.
