Nicole LeBel Obituary

Nicole LeBel
ANSONIA, CT – Nicole Marie LeBel, 40, a beacon of love and warmth, was born on June 27, 1983, in Bridgeport, CT, and peacefully departed on January 17, 2024, in Ansonia, CT, after bravely facing a prolonged battle with addiction. She leaves behind an indelible legacy as a loving wife and mother, a cherished daughter and sister, and a dear friend to many.
Nicole graduated from Foran High School in Milford, CT, after attending Platt Technical High School in Milford, and then served briefly in the US Navy. She was a skilled waitress and spent many years waiting tables at Lasse's Restaurant in Milford and managing Two Boots in Bridgeport, but her true passion was motherhood, and Nicole loved being a stay-at-home mom. Her heart was happiest when her home was full of kids, and she opened her arms to so many.
She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent Spada, with whom she raised her two sons, Rylie Rhodes, 18, and Tyler Spada, 10; parents Patricia LeBel-Lasse and Peter Lasse; and brother Charles LeBel and his wife Zhenelle. Nicole's impact extended far beyond her immediate family, and she will be dearly missed by her aunt Colleen O'Rourke; cousin Ellie and uncle Sean O'Rourke; niece Harper Spada, and nephews Dominic and Cole Spada, and Thomas Falk; and Mark Meredith, whom she embraced like a child of her own; as well as her grandfather and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her joyful laughter, warm smile, and the extraordinary kindness in her heart left a profound mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Nicole made friends everywhere she went and would help anyone in need.
A celebration of Nicole's life will take place on Friday, January 26, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ (34 W. Main Street, Milford, CT 06460). In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations of support during this difficult time. https://gofund.me/bdf9a959
