Davis , Paul E.
Paul E. Davis, age 50, a longtime Oxford resident, the beloved husband of 27 years to Cheryl Cavallaro Davis, entered into eternal rest peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was born in Derby,CT on October 21, 1965, son of the late Paul "Pete" Davis and Patricia Parkosewich Davis of Florida.
Paul was the third generation owner and operator of the family business Davis Oil Company. He enjoyed helping and being of service to everyone he knew. Paul was an avid fisherman. Most of all, Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. Even after his time, Paul continued to help people and save many lives through organ and tissue donation.
In addition to his beloved wife Cheryl and mother Patricia, his family includes his four cherished children Jaime Gervasio and her husband Joseph of Seymour, Jessica Davis, Jodi Davis and Paul E. Davis, Jr. all of Oxford, his caring brother Patrick Davis of Seymour.
A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Paul's Life will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 (Directly) at 11:30 am at The Church Of The Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour. Interment will follow in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Seymour. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul 's memory to The Davis Children Education Fund, to help with college for Paul and Jodi, through the funeral home.

Paul was a very good person, he gave me work tons of time when i had nothing to do for incomeHe also was a very nice guy to stop an talk to for 5-10min.Sorry to the Davis Family for your loss.
