Robert Deaky Obituary
Robert N. Deaky, age 52, of Fairfield, beloved son of Robert and Joan Deaky passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Rob had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He graduated from Andrew Warde High School and was employed as a service technician for various oil companies including Turnpike Furnace, Kaufman Fuel and Gault Energy. Rob loved cars of all kinds, especially classic cars and Mustangs, and racing. He was a member of the Monroe Street Rodders and enjoyed attending classic car shows. He loved heavy metal music. Rob was a kind, generous and friendly individual who was always willing to help anyone who needed it; never looking for anything in return. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Survivors in addition to his parents include four beloved children, Alyssa Peterson and her husband Todd and their children, Avery and Charley of Fairfield, Nicholas Deaky of Stratford, Stephanie Kapell and her husband Taylor and their son Henry of Middletown, and Jessica Deaky of Trumbull; two sisters, Grace Cullen and her husband David of Fairfield and Donna Kerma and her husband Kenny and their daughter Pandora of Fairfield. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. Judith Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Rob Deaky to the Monroe Street Rodders (Please make checks payable to Robert L. Deaky), 65 Pope Street, Fairfield, CT 06825. my condolences to the deaky family
i did not know rob really well but use to talk to him when i saw him either doing a dump run or cruising in the mustang was surprised to hear his passing last i spoke to him he was picking up someone to go to the car show in norwalk a week earlier we would always talk about the classic cars once again sorry for the families loss

I was shocked and saddened to here of Rob's death. I will miss his visits to my house and seeing that proud face when he was driving the Mustang. I am grateful for having known him, he will be deeply missed.
