So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with all of you. Mr. and Mrs. Burritt have always held a special place in my heart. I loved RB's smile and kindness. One of my favorite memories of RB was his willingness to participate in all the silly SLCC skits! He will be missed by many.

Mr. Burritt was a huge supporter of mine during Boy Scouts and I honestly don't think I would've gotten Eagle Scout if it wasn't for his motivation. You have my deepest condolences. Mr. B was a true role model.

Sabra, Joan, Sandy and family, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your dad was a great guy and meant a lot to Silver Lake, Alden and all of us who were fortunate to be the recipients of his wit, humor, and wisdom. Please keep in touch... it's been too long!

The first time I met Roger, when I was dating his daughter Joan, I was somewhat uncomforable. But he took me by the arm and we drove down to Burritt Lumber to look around and to show me what he did. We talked and became friends. I didn't see him often, but when I did I knew we were still friends. I love working with wood to this day, guess it rubs off. A kind, gentle, strong man...Roger will be missed. But we are better off haveing known him.

Rog was one of the reasons I brought both my sons into Troop 71, and one if the reasons I stayed on afterward in the committee. He leaves a mighty big hole to fill. Rog was a class A guy, adn we will miss him.
